All clinics and play levels are designed around game play.  Clinics are not lesson specific, but goal oriented practice – play.
BEGINNER – (LEARNER) CLINIC (1.0 – 2.0)
During the introduction to pickleball clinic, players learn the very basics of pickleball.  Players will spend most of their time playing while slowly introducing rules one by one.  Why is that? because playing pickleball is more important and fun!  This phase of pickleball is all getting your feet wet while playing under controlled environment.

During this phase, players learn different types of serves, 2-bounce rule is introduced, non-volley-zone is examined and clarified and the scoring is explained.

Before you know it, you’re a rockstar!
More LESSONS are important.

ADVANCED BEGINNER – (BEYOND BEGINNER) CLINIC (2.0 – 3.0)
Emphasis of this phase is to learn different shots and continue to develop the game beyond the basic knowledge; 2-bounce rule, serves, returns, scoring, non-volley-zone.

During this phase players are developing;
– dinks; forehand/backhand
– down the line/cross-court groundstrokes
– drop shots
– proper ready position
– proper movement and ground strokes while staying balanced
– importance of serve and return placement

This is a very fun phase of pickleball as players are starting to develop tactics of the game.
SMALL-GROUP LESSONS/CLINICS and REPETITION are key!

NOVICE / INTERMEDIATE – CLINIC (3.0 – 3.5)
During this phase players are working to keep the serve and serve receive deep (for the most part), move quickly towards the non-volley zone when opportunity is there.  Players try to make flatter returns (where appropriate).  AT THIS POINT players are more aware of their partner’s position on the court and are moving more as a team.  Players are developing more power in their shots, beginning to attempt lobs and dinks with little success, BUT don’t fully understand when and why they should be used.

Goal specific LESSONS, PRACTICE and REPETITION are key!

ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE – CLINIC (3.5 – *4.0)
Now, players demonstrate a broad knowledge of the rules and of the game.  Players get high majority of serves in, and are able to serve and return serves deep with more success.  Players are showing more control of their shots and place shots to the weak side of opponent.  Players demonstrate more strategies of playing during games. Both players are working better with their partners in communicating, covering court, moving to net. With varying consistency both players execute: lobs, forehand/backhand ground strokes, overheads, net volleys, and sustained dinking.  Players are starting to use drop shots in order to get to the net, they hits fewer balls out of bounds or in the net and are able to sustain dinking in the game.

Tactic specific LESSONS, PRACTICE – PLAY – PRACTICE are key!
